Course Objectives
The two-day Teacher of School Swimming course objectives include:
- Understanding the technical aspects related to the four swimming strokes
- Identifying faults and causes within the four swimming strokes
- Introducing progressive practices to bring about an improvement in ability
- Identifying the key considerations when developing a lesson plan
- Creating session plans for the delivery of swimming lessons
- Describing the key aspects of effective communication in relation to delivery
- Reviewing the effectiveness of your planning and delivery
